I’d love to ask them for their opinion directly but Meyer’s say breed identification isn’t a service they provide.

That’s because the people who work there on the computers can’t tell a Jersey Giant from a Serama.

I imagine that’s true for the most part, but why do they act like it’s impossible to bring in someone that’s familiar with their stock and is good at identifying breeds? I imagine it isn’t hard to CC the email to them.

He looks very much like my barely-any-visible-copper-coloring, 14 week old Blue Copper Marans, also from Meyer Hatchery.

Photo is from a month ago, but now mine also has red comb & wattles like your Blueberry. Maybe my favorite pullet is actually a roo?!

Here’s my blue copper maran pullet ( Bluey ), she’s the same age as Blueberry. Do you see any pointy hackle or saddle feathers coming in on your BCM?
