I enjoy my flock a great deal. They bring me a lot of pleasure. I just can't force myself to choose just 1 or 2 breeds...lol.

The banty faverolles were a mistake. I bought the eggs online and misread thinking they were standard. My son claimed those as his. The silkies I had to have because well I'll never have to use an incubator again...lol. Now I use the silkies and incubators

The D'Uccles I took because I went to pick up some cochins that I had purchased online and they weren't what I planned on so I took the D'Uccles instead. I got them this winter and they are still quarantined in my house from the flock and most days can be found wandering around my kitchen clucking.

The list goes on and on..... I'm a sick woman !!
