We just got six barred Plymouth Rock chicks yesterday:) I raised chickens as a teen but we are starting our own flock to teach our kids. So far everything is going great. A couple of
Our chicks had pasty butt but we cleaned them up and started adding apple cider vinegar to their water.

Nice brooder, the chicks look so tiny, for the moment. I know they grow fast and try out flying skills before long. You may want to put a wire top on the brooder to prevent escapes. Welcome to the flock.
