Milkhouse heater to defrost freezer. Sweet!!!!!!!

Cleaned out my big chest freezer tonight. Lost the hair dryer i used brfore, so i was trying the ol' kettle of hot water trick and that was too slow. Dropped in the milkhouse heater and it worked like a charm. All the ice dropped off in about 10 min.

Excellent!! Last time my deep freezer got defrosted was because a rat had chewed on the power cord...

Woody, thanks for the tip, never would have thought of that... and my chest freezer is long over due... 10 minutes I can do....... not the 3 hours it usually takes

I haven't defrosted mine in over a year, that's when we moved into our house
