I'm at a less for what is wrong. My little Barbra around 5 months old has has milky white watery poops since I got her over two months ago. Originally she had coccidiosis and I treated that and it cleared right up. Since then I have tried adding apple cider vinegar to her water and electrolytes. I have also gotten medicated food and added grit. Nothing will stop the milky white poops. Otherwise she seems happy and healthy. I have made her an appointment with the vet at 1:30 today but does anyone have an idea what might be happening?

When you see the vet, ask them to run a fecal float to look for a lot of coccidia or worms, and if possible do a gram stain for bacteria on her droppings. Take in a fresh sample or ask them to use a glove and swab her vent for a sample. Has she ever started laying yet or is her comb turning red? She could have a kidney or possible reproductive problem. It is hard to know. Probiotics are very good to use 2-3 times a week. Your vet should have some packets of powder for sale, or you can get Gro2Max online from amazon.

She is a little young for laying yet. Do you think she could live a normal life with a kidney or reproductive problem?

Other than her poop being bad. She is happy. She runs around and plays. Even steals apple pieces from the big girls.

She is just at the age that some start laying, so I would not worry too much yet. Some young pullets can suffer from reporductive disorders prematurely, but there are other possibilities. A common respiratory disease called infectious bronchitis, is known to cause kidney and reproductive problems in flocks. I would just wait and see what the vet has to say, and run a few tests. Hopefully, she will be fine.
