At what age can you tell sex of a Mille? I have two I am absolutely loving but no idea what to look for to tell the sex of them or what age ill be able to tell... Like everyone else I am to impatient to wait for an egg or a crow

You'll probably have a good idea when they are 6-8 weeks old. Watch for large red combs and wattles at an early age.

Right now the lighter one has the bigger comb, but perhaps it appears that way because of her color? Notice I said her, I told them both they are girls! :)
Thanks for the advice!

Too early to tell. Wait till about 8 weeks, but I'm not seeing any early cockerel signs.

Also, I call all of my chicks "girls" so that maybe they'll actually do me a favor and be girls.

I have one d'Uccle, pretty sure a mille fleur, and I'm curious about gender too. My sweetie is about four weeks old.
