Mini moult

I have girls that have been having (going through) a mini moult. They are almost 7 months old. I know that when a chicken moults they won't lay eggs. What about a mini moult.

It seems about 50/50 in my little flock. Sometimes they'll keep right on laying through a light moult, other times they'll stop for a bit.

Twice this week I got some "weird" eggs. I'm thinking it could be from one of the "mini molters". A few days ago I found a rubber egg and today I found an egg that looked like a dried up pod. It was all dried up, no egg inside (don't know how long it was there).
