Miniature Eggs?

Our 2 youngest hens just started laying. They’re a Speckled Sussex & a red hen (unsure of her breed). They’re about 22 weeks old. We got the light brown egg first. She’s laid 3 so far, all mini. The dark brown one is the first egg from the other hen, & is mini as well. Is this normal? Our other hens never laid such small eggs, even with their first ones.

Yep it’s normal. Eggs will get bigger with time.
