Missing Chicken

Hi, I have a bantam who often flies out of the coop. last two days she's been missing. I live in michigan, and fall is upon us up here. is it possible that she has gone broody, or more likely that she's been picked up by something?

Both possibilities exist. If she is broody she should show up looking for feed.

ok thanks...so chickens CAN go broody in the fall?

Absolutely - and successfully raise chicks through the winter if provided with a dry, draft free area to raise them.
