Missing feathers- mites or lice???

Hello, my brown Ameraucauna has been missing feathers around her neck for several weeks. At first I thought maybe mini molt. She is almost 9 months old. But it is not getting better. She is my most finicky and has never like to be held or touched so hard to get close. No other signs of mites or lice in any of my other 3 hens. Would appreciate any advice on how to treat as I am a new chicken momma. Thank you!!!

That's either pecking order or mating damage.

Feathers won't grow back when they are just broken until the next molt. They might grow back of they were completely pulled, but no guarantees.

That's often where they will grab each other in displays of dominance.

I have to agree with the others. If it was mites You would probably see the problem starting around her vent area if it was lace you would probably see more than just neck feathers missing. If you have a rooster he could be trying to mate and being a little too rough because when they mate they grab on to the back with their feet and grab the next with their beak. Or it could be feather pecking
