Hello everyone, here's another picture for people to try to decipher gender from:
That is definately a rooster! A very handsome one though
another Rooster vote.
I see red comb and skinny feathers on the lower part of the back...all boy indicators.
Saddle feathers and dark red on the wing are giveaways. He's pretty!
I too would like to know what this might be. Except for the feathers on the legs, this roo resembles the 5 I got from a breeder that labled them Golden Buff. Later read that Golden Buff roos are pure white, but mine looked exactly like yours, give or take a slight difference in the amount of buff coloring, and the already mentioned feathered legs.
that is 1000% cockerel. saddles tell you that all the way. they are long pointed and slender.
absolutely...but I was surprised not to see any red on the shoulders
I don't understand? The OP roo has red on his shoulders................?
it's not really red its a buff/creamy/tanish color
Ive been following every ones answers because I have a chicken that looks a little bit like the one pictured here. im going to look for the saddle feathers and red on the shoulders.
