Mixed breed: male or female?

My chicken is 2 months old as of today. He or she acts like a hen but started crowing today. I would really love to know the gender is. The chicken is kept in the house if that makes a difference. Please help me out with the gender. It would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, definitely a cockerel. Pullets don't have big red combs like that until they are much closer to laying age.

Would it matter if the father was a cochin and barnevelder mix and the mother was a pure australorp?

No difference. I think perhaps you are in denial. At 2months old with a comb that big and red and it's started crowing, there is no doubt I'm afraid, that is a cockerel!.
