I have some hatching eggs from a guy who has orpingtons. The hens are bbs and he has two blue roos, a buff, and a chocolate. What can I expect from the eggs?

Blue/Black/Splash Hens x Blue Roosters = BBS Chicks
BBS Hens x Buff = Possible some Black and Blue and some Buff but Buff is a really weird color we don't fully understand yet (you could probably get some funky/cool mixed colors from this pairing?)
Black Hen x Chocolate = Chocolate Pullets & Black Cockerels (who carry Chocolate)
Blue Hen x Chocolate = Black & Blue Cockerels, Khaki/Mauve & Chocolate Pullets
Splash Hen x Chocolate = Blue Cockerels (who carry Chocolate) & Khaki/Mauve Pullets

Wow, thank you so much for that information! You obviously know your stuff. 👍

I know BBS by heart but I'm not super familiar with Chocolate! Thankfully I understand the genetics calculator made by Henk- http://kippenjungle.nl/Overzicht.htm#kipcalculator It's a little confusing but if you wanted to use it it's a GREAT tool to have for genetics : D
Ive seen that calculator but in all honesty have no idea how to use it. I don’t really understand how to tell the difference in all the phenotypes. Duckwing? Birchen? No clue. And there really isn’t much online explaining it all. Or if there is, I haven’t found it!

The buff x BBS could look something like these.
