Out of necessity due to a late VERY cold spell, I had to mix a four week old turkey poult, half a dozen four week old bantam chicks, a two week old turkey poult, and a three day old poult in a temporary indoor brooder. The usual bullying, picking, pushing went on, mostly between the bantams and the youngest poult, which is nearly the same size.
I used a small water spray bottle set on stream to "zap" offenders when they ganged up on the littlest poult. After a few repeated treatments and a grooming/nap session, they are for the most part not paying any special attention to the little guy.
