Hello Everyone, sorry to ask so many questions but, can I put a male and female Texas a&m quail in the same cage? otherwise I was wondering if I can put a different breed in with Snowy, my Texas a&m quail, like the same size and gender? One more thing how should I setup Snowy's cage, and can I use a fish tank (20-50 gallons)?

The Texas A&M's are coturnix quail so yes you can put in more coturnix of different colors or the same :) it's best to have one male with several females or the females will become overmated which can lead to feather loss/stress/injury so I would get some more girls :D

I think I answered about coturnix in aquariums in another post - not ideal because of the ventilation issue which does become an issue in a short period of time leading to stinky cage and bad air for the quail
