    Hello all,
I just picked up 5 Golden Sex Links and 5 Araucanas day old chicks yesterday. It kind of seems like the Araucanas are picking on the sex links. Their temperature is between 90-95 degrees and have plenty of space but the Araucanas seem to be pecking at the sex links. Never at each other and the sex links aren't pecking at them.

Has anyone had a problem with this before? Is this normal?

    Thanks for your input,
    Concerned new mom :)

I had three EE's, and the darkest one picked on the one white one for a few days. I ultimately took Lilac (the dark one) and put her on the other side of a barrier for a day behind a screen. She was absolutely crushed, so I couldn't take it anymore.

Luckily, after I put her back, nothing. I don't know why...

Maybe you could do something similar. Put up a screen and put the picked on/nuetral ones on one side, the picky ones on the other.

It sounds like its something I'll have to keep an eye on and make sure it doesn't get too out of hand. I'm hoping it's only happening because they're new to each other.
