Mixing Breeds?

I'm getting only 2 pullets and I was wondering if I could get 2 different breeds.

That should be no problem. I have 5 different breeds. They are all standard size. They were together since they were hatched so they get along pretty well.

I have 5 different breeds in my flock. When I want to breed, I pull out the hens and the rooster and put them in a different pen. I have even mixed bantams with standard size and they do fine together. I have not had any problem. I even have ducks with my chickens and they get along fine. What are the breeds you want to put together? Some are more layed back and others are more aggressive. Mine are all duel purpose and very friendly.

I love a mixed flock!
There are so many interesting breeds out there how could you possibly just stick with one XD?
Its a good learning experience too, comparing the pros and cons to different breeds.
