I started raising chickens last year. I had two different breeds Rhode island reds and Cornish rocks (6 total). But sadly they all had died (fox). I was hoping to get new this this year (7 or 8). The breeds that I would like to get include Brahma, Silkie, Polish, Speckled Sussex, and Ancona (all hens) . I was wondering if i raised them together from day 1, would all the breeds be ok together?

    thanks!!!

When raised together, bantams generally do well in mixed flocks. All of the large birds should be fine; although, if in an enclosed environment mixed flocks have been known to tear out the feathery crests of Polish.
