So I am wondering if you can raise and house different egg layers all in the same coop and run? If so, which ones make the best roomates? I am thinking of maybe a flock of 4-6 total birds. Anyone done this and if so what specific mix worked for you. Will they all roost, eat and play together? And do they all require different feed or just a chicken feed?

i have chickens and ducks together. They all eat chick feed and free range during the day. I did at once have chick, ducks, quail, and pheasants all in the coop for about a week til i got the other coop built. while living together i didnt have any problem. the problem i had was when i put the pheasant in his new cage he wanted to always fight with my rooster it was weird cuz they enver fought while living together lol. i know a buddy of mine has chicks, ducks, turkey, quail, and rabbits all in the same coop and they all do just fine.
