mixing chickies of different ages

ok so i have a lone chickie from a failed incubation attempt (mostly infertile eggs) well she is 5 and a half weeks old now, today my brother is going to tractor supply store so would it be OK to get more chickies to brood with my solo, they look to be about a week old they have some wing feathers. So is this an ok age gap if there are multiple younger chicks or am I better off keeping solo, solo?

you can but monitor them for a while and if everything goes ok keep them in there, but monitor them for a day or two

ok thanks, i got 5 cornish cross, they dont seem to mind solo and she seems ok with the company so far.
