I have 2 lots of quail. The first lot is 6 weeks old and the second lot is 2 weeks old and I was wondering if I could mix them together with the brooder lamp on in the cage? Just so I dont have the 2 cages and keep them all together, if anyone knows? thanks

6 week olds don't need heat, but the 2 week olds still do. So that is going to pose a problem. If they are still in the 2 week range of age, they should still be at 90 degrees, lowering the heat by 5 degrees each week of their lives til they are 6 weeks old. Get the 6 week olds in their pens and keep the 2 week olds in their own brooder. :)
