Mixing same age chicks from different sources

Picked up 17 chicks today. I can handle 21-22 total. Last time they sent 7 extras, this time only two. As such, I’d like to pick up 4-5 more locally. All will be 2-4 days old. All the ones from this morning are super healthy and drinking / eating well.

Any disease risk in adding the extras to my brooder with the 17 from a different source?

I'd be leary to mix hatchery birds with local birds, local birds can carry disease.

These would be online hatchery mixed with Tractor Supply birds. Not sure how much better TS are than backyard “local” birds, though.

What are the sources? If you mean feed stores and hatcheries, likely not.

The four chicks i have (from the same local source) are 5 days (two of them) and 3 weeks (the other two.) I got tempted by the selection at Tractor Supply today.

I'd say it's probably OK for birds that young, just keep an eye on them.
