Red letter day today. Finished the trailer coop , placed the girls in their new digs, and the back ordered part for my mower came in, thus the 6"deep carpet of freshly cut grass lining the floor of the coop. The girls seem to like it. Let them free range today for the first time. They can finally get to the stuff they had been stretching their necks through the run fencing for. They ranged all of 2 feet away from the run's confines. Just put them to bed for the evening. Here's a picture of them taken through the nesting box outside door.
