    Also, if you have a chicken like this, do you remember the coloring of his parents? And your chicken it's a rooster or hen?

    It is definitely a rooster and has the duckwing pattern.

    Your bird is a cockerel and it looks to be a golden duckwing color:

    No, the hens are not cock-feathered if that's what you're asking. The hens look similar to the female in the photo (of a painting?) I posted.

    What you have is a Golden Duckwing that doesn't look too bad. I would suspect that he is a first year cross from the BB Red's and Silver Duckwings you also have in the picture.
    To get better wingbows ( which is his biggest color downfall) just put him over the BB Red females. The Silver Duckwing female in the picture maybe a Gloden Duckwing, it is extremely hard to tell the difference between them.
