i have white mold growing on the ground in the coop run .. how do i get rid of it and still be safe for my chickens?

A dilute bleach solution should do the trick. Be sure the fumes have all moved on before you let the chickens back in.

I imagine if there is mold in your coop that it needs a good deal more ventilation. there is an excellent article on ventilation linked in my sig line.

I think you might have missed that the OP is talking about the run, and not the coop?

Is it just growing by itself? Was there old leaves, mulch or shavings down that were perhaps moved? There is a white fungus that appears during decomposition and is considered a good thing. Anyway I would either turn over what is on the ground or add some straw or shavings to cover it. I wouldn't put anything down that could soak in or be pecked at by the chickens.

You're right.

If the run is staying wet, you need to dry it out. Maybe sand with retaining boards, or maybe ditching to drain it better, as in this article:
