Molting ducks question

Our ducks started molting at one year old, 6 weeks ago. Any ideas about how long it will be until they are through it and laying again? Thanks!

You don't mention the breed; however, if they are mallard derived I would expect them to start laying early spring.

My Runners molted about the same time as yours and are back laying, you just never know. lol What breed?

They should be almost finished molting. Are the feathers coming in?

My runners are still molting, but stopped laying about two weeks ago. Based on last year, I'm not expecting more eggs until spring.

My ducks seem to molt for quite awhile. My drake's been molting actively for 3 weeks, and he's very slowly regrowing feathers. He still doesn't have his drake curl back.

One of my females started molting 2 weeks ago, and she's still leaving piles of feathers wherever she goes. You never realize how small a duck's wing actually is until they're molting. It's like a little stub!

Females are Blue Swedish, Welsh Harlequin, Black Runner, Khaki Campbell and Rouen. We've been getting one egg a day for 3+ weeks.

Just hard to say some of your girls may lay again before the year is up then again they may not till spring. That is something we don't know for sure. Today from 6 ducks I got 3 eggs last week one day I got 6.

And...their feathers have grown back!
