Molting Rooster

I need information on molting. My rooster has started to molt. What is the typical time of year for this? I am worried that he will not finish before the cold weather sets in.

I think each bird is different in some aspects. Our Golden Campine roo (over 2 years of age) is just finishing up his molt, which started over a month ago.
