My Chinese geese are looking a little raggedy. Is this the time of year when they molt?

They can molt any time of year, there is no set 'moulting time of year'.

Along the same lines, how often do they molt a year? (Since they can molt at any time, does it happen in just one period of time or several times within a year??)
