Should my male Red Golden be molting now? He's lost all his long tail feathers. Any ideas??

Well my ducks, chukar and pheasant are starting to molt, but I think it so dang hot here. Been from 64 to 96 deg. Weird weather.

Quote:It's been awful here too. So hot, so soon! But I find myself saying that every year!!
I just wanted to be sure it wasn't due to illness or disease. Everything else about him seems healthy.

Quote:Normally I would agree with you here, but I am further south than you & it has been really hot here. My male RG is molting early also.
