    One of my Isa Browns is nearly bare with her molting. She looks prehistoric now lol. Do chickens normally molt in Summer?

    Most people think that chickens only molt in the fall but chickens can actually molt anytime of year with fall being the most common.

    Oh right, I didn't realise that. I'm in Australia and we have 5 more days until Summer, but in saying that we have had a very very hot and dry Spring so maybe that's why. All of my animals are struggling a bit actually.
