I had a hen go broody a few weeks back and her chicks are starting to hatch and last night one hatched and was fine this morning, but I went out later and there were ants all over it’s face and the other chicks and mom were pecking it. It also was away from the mom on the other side of the bin. I put iodine and antibiotic ointment on it but it’s head is bloody. I also put it in my incubator that doesn’t have eggs yet to keep it warm and away from the ants. Is there anything else I can do for itnor is it too late????
