I went out tonight and Momma and Daddy were sharing the eggs. Momma on three Daddy on 6 and two in the middle. The two in the middle were slightly cool so I sent Momma and Daddy away for a drink and built the nest back up with all the eggs back together. When she cam back she picked an egg out of the middle and rolled it to the outside of the clutch then out of the nest and sat on the rest. I picked up the egg and checked it again in case I was wrong and it wasn't alive. But sure enough it was moving. So I put it back in the clutch. Any reason behind this? Will she normally do this on her own and then maybe bring it back into her nest? I'm hoping to not lose any babies. [IMG]
