mommy hen

my mommy chicken had 14 baby chicks and we recently got her from someone selling all there chickens, well when we got her home with 14 babies , we pulled the babies and put her in the coop with two hens about 3-4 monts old, they are all doing fine and getting along does mommy hen think there her babies, but its been over 1 week and she is still not laying eggs yet.
any help and or advise you could give would be greatly appreciated.
