Yesterday, I went to collect the eggs and one of my WLH laid this monster egg! I know whenever I get a big egg, its a double yolker, but this is the biggest egg yet. Here are some pics.

I dont know which of the hens is laying that egg but this is the largest yet. I sure felt sorry for the poor thing trying to pop out such a large egg. I cant wait til the lady getting this dozen to see that one!! [IMG]

This is the first monster white egg I've seen on here... usually they are brown and I've seen a blue/green one too. I have not gotten any myself. [IMG]

That's a pretty big egg. Whoever laid that one needs some TLC! [IMG]

I had an easter-egger who consistently laid huge eggs. I couldn't even get the egg carton closed on them! She's still living at almost 8 years, so I guess it didn't hurt her! (She's in henopause now). [IMG]

I know!! They keep getting bigger and bigger it seems!! I dont know who laid it because nobody is walking around funny<g> but I sure felt sorry for the poor thing. Mine are still around 2 going on three years old now so Im sure some will be slowing down soon. If this one makes it another few years laying eggs like that, more power to her!!
