sounds like lack of feathers -still in down is what i c.all : slow growth gene(not sure of actual name) i see this mosty in black or blue cochins..so far everyone of mine turns out being a rooster.

maybe just give it time? I have a 3 month old that is just starting to get feathers. he had very little fuzz when hatched and still has bald spots on his bum.

feathers will grow normally just slower then others. as far as ive seen they do not require extra heat or anything special..alot of times will notice it grows faster - taller then hatch mates..which if they are roosters would make sense in being taller. i have a hen that hatched off 13 babies...tsk tsk tsk...10 all have this..meaning 10 roosters..???? LOL ....anyone needing some roosters ????
