I currently have a 4' L x 6' W x 4' T coop with 2 nesting boxes and a 10' L x 6' W x 6' T run. Right now we only have 2 hens (1 Buff O, 1 SL Wyandotte). We just got 5 chicks and plan on keeping whichever ones turn out to be hens since my neighbors wouldn't like it if I got a rooster. So we could potenially have a total of 7 hens, but more than likely a couple will be roosters. What would be a reasonable amount of reg sized hens in my set up?

6 hens could fit comfortably in there.

24 sq. feet in the coop, so that's able to support 6 LF chickens.

    Nice coop set up!
