I have four duck eggs on lockdown. Today makes day 28. Last night on finaly internaly piped and then three more did today. For the first one it will be 24 hours. If its hasnt externaly piped by then is it ok or do i need to help by putting a hole in the wide end with the air sack. They arent making noise even though they are moving.

At this point, you will do more harm than good by helping. What kind of ducks? From what I've heard, ducks take a bit longer to hatch.

Their welsh harliquin. I cant remember if it takes 12-24 hours or 24-48 to go from internal to external. It is said that they normaly hatch at 28 days. Im thinking they are running behind. I dont wanna make a mistake and jump in when i shouldnt, i also dont wanna wait to long thinking everything is fine. Does that make sence?
