morning coffee?

DW just brought up coffee and a question? Can chickens eat/like coffee grounds and should it only be decaf?

There's no way I'd feed coffee grouns to my chickens, not even decaf.

Oh yeah. The last thing I need is caffeinated buzzed ducks. Holy Cow, just thinking about it!

Put the coffee grounds into the veggie garden and use the enriched soil to grow some chard for your birds.

Unless your birds are coffee fiends I don't think they'll pay any attention to your coffee grounds after the first tentative peck. I've pitched grounds into the hen yard many times along with the other scraps and my birds just ignore them.

They'd be better used around your rose bushes though.
