Good Morning!! Name is Michelle and I live in NJ with my husband Ron, 2 year old Daughter and 3 dogs. We just recently aquired 4 ducklings (originally we were going to do 2, but the shop had a rule of buy a minimum of 3...since there was 4, the shop gave us the 4th at a discount). We have them set up in a nice little (roomy guinea/rabbit) cage with a heat lamp, ample water and food.

I've bonded with one of the ducklings who I've named "Mo" because he/she has a bit of a mohawk. It's adorable. He/she follows me around and loves being pet/held. The other 3 follow us around but are a tiny bit skiddish with being held. I'm sure over time, they'll enjoy being pet/held.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. Nice to meet you Michelle. I think Mo is extra special, hope she/he stays that way.. I think as a whole ,ducks are not programmed to be cuddly.
