Mother with chicks

    Got these guys at auction too, two mothers, one with 1 chick, 1 with 10 chicks. Any idea on breed or mom and babies?

    The mamas looks like old English game hens.

    The chicks, I can't tell right now. They might not all be hers either. She could have just gone broody and they put extra eggs under her. It should be fun to see what they end up being.

    Mothers look like Old English Game bantams to me as well, a Brown Red and a BB Red. The chicks have the typical OEG bantam shape so they are likely from their own eggs and an unknown color of OEG rooster. Could end up with some pure colors and some mixed colors.
