Hi all. The pics aren't the greatest on this chick becuase its a little snot and doesnt want to hols still for pics. Its a 6.5 week old mottled cochin bantam. I ordered from mypetchicken and chose to only order females, but im thinking this one might be a roo. I know ive got a few weeks and i can email them if it does turn out to be a roo, but for now as a first timer curiosity is getting to me. What do you all think?

I think it's too young to tell, but it doesn't appear to have any rooster traits right now. I'm guessing it's a pullet.

Nothing indicates roo, and bantam Cochin usually telecast by now, if you are solid on your age.

Wait a while longer to ascertain sex. If it is male, that comb will take off like crazy in the next few weeks.

But I'm seeing pullet right now.
