Brown Red Mottled D’Uccles Project

As some of y’all now I’m working on creating a new variety/color of D’Uccles. The roos will be mottled with brown red leakage around the neck and saddle. The hens will also be mottled with brown red leakage around the neck and possibly the saddle depending if I like that. I’m going to use this thread to keep track of the of the breeding an growth of the birds

Here are the parents. I’m using pure Mille Fleur hens and a pure brown red Japanese rooster. I realize it probably would be easier if I used brown red D’Uccles instead of the Japanese, but as of right now I don’t own brown red D’Uccles yet.

Here are the chicks I just hatched! This is the 2 batch from the paring.

I have bred the F1 roo with the F1 hen and my 2 other Mille Fleurs. Here are their babies
