Hi! My “girl” is 9 weeks, last week she sprouted “horns” and I asked in a thread (that now I can’t find!) if that was a sure fire sign she was a HE. No one replied and I can’t find a clear answer online- I fee like horns should have been a solid giveaway...
Her behaviors are very loving, the first to jump in my lap and lay down for cuddles and pets.

any help would be great!

The "horns" are a v-comb, which most crested breeds have (Polish, Houdans, Crevecoeurs, Sultans and LaFleche). Pullets have them too.

Houdans can be tricky to sex. They are bearded, so the wattles are almost nonexistent and can't help with sexing. The comb on yours is a little red, and given the shape of the crest at this point I would lean towards cockerel.

Thank you! It what we think as well, but they are very submissive to our touch and like I said, always the first to come and get cuddles. We will be very sad to part with them if they are a cockerel.
