Moulting and cannibalism!

All of my Rhode Island Reds have been moulting. Now some have bare butts and the other ones are pecking them. They have pecked one so bad that she was pouring blood. Removed her and put her in a very large dog crate. Is there anything else I need to do also?

Is the blood from flesh wounds or new feather quills?

Flesh woulds I believe, her poor vent was so swollen. I put peroxide on it and going to town to get the purple stuff also.

I would avoid peroxide after the first cleaning.

I know new quills are blood filled and other birds will peck at them and it looks horrible ... but if she has flesh wounds separate her...
