Hi All. I have started with Coturnix quail and have had some success with hatch rates, which are climbing. My sister is bringing me some Californian Quail that she no longer wants. But here in South Africa we do not see the Mountain Quail at all. The little research I have done is that they are not on the endangered list, but perhaps they are classed as invasive by our government, which I will have to look into. But if anyone has exported them to South Africa before ( Legally as I prefer not to go into a jail here thanks guys), please be so kind as to let me know. Thanks in advance.
