Make sure this is just a yawning movement and not gasping for air as that is something more serious. But sometimes it appears they are yawning a lot. Sometimes they do that if something is stuck in the trachea, like a seed hull or something similar. They will do this with certain sounds like the rumble of airplanes flying over, thunder will cause them to do this or even lawn mowers. Even a feather can get stuck in the tube. This shouldn't be anything constant however, unless you do have constant air traffic over head or similar noise. If the birds is healthy otherwise, I wouldn't think it is anything to worry about.

If you want more feedback, you can always post this question in the emergency section of the chicken behavoir section of BYC.

Great to have you board and enjoy BYC!

There is a possibility she has gape worms. Put that in the search box and see if the symptoms line up with what your girl is doing.

[IMG] Glad you joined us! She could be gasping for air/trying to dislodge something in her throat because she has gapeworm or a respiratory disease. I'd post this in the Emergencies section of the forum, good luck with her!
