My broody hen has a nest in the garden, she has only been sitting full time since Sunday. I need advice on how to move her and her eggs to a safer place, this is her first time going broody, so if I move them will she still sit? and if she is gonna be aggressive how do I go about all of this?? Any advice is helpful.

I have a broody trying hatching for the first time too.(well we are going to pick up a chick on Thursday) and she is aggressive, so I pick her up I with gloves or I put my sweatshirt on my hands. and we moved her twice and she sat on the eggs with no problem.

if you have any problems moving her post on the same thread and I will try to help! hope all goes well, gemma24

When you move her, you might want to make sure she's secured in her new nest. If she can, she'll likely go right back to the old nest. Agree on the gloves and sweatshirt. Luckily, most of my current broodies are pretty docile, but I've had others in the past that were brutal.
