Well he was not happy to see me, as i him.. [IMG] but i took a camo shirt and covered him up with it, then i took a stick with three limbs coming off the end and lifted him up from underneath like a cradle to get his weight off of the netting then began to cut his leg free, he was clenching his talons shut trying to grab what was touching him, but he didn't succeed. once cut free i took the stick from underneath him and gave a shove straight upward and off he went.. hope he learned a lesson this morning.. His leg was fine other than some minor cuts, nothing deep..

I just love them. When I was a kid one would perch every night on top the grain bin. If you were outside you would hear him swoosh down and the squeek of the mouse he just caught. It was so cool. Good job.

Beautiful and thank you for not killing him! I think they are protected species.

Hopefully his feet are all right because sometimes it could swell up and get infected. At least no cuts.
