Just took a rooster in because someone on our street just threw him out because they thought he was a hen. Could not bear seeing him wondering around with no home. Went on this site to see how to take care of him. He is now happily living in our garden with a lovely warm comfy house made by my lovely partner. Mr rooster loves his strikes and is loved

Welcome to BYC [IMG] That rooster is so lucky he got you! Are you going to get him a hen or three for company? Chickens are social creatures, like us, and are much happier when they have someone of their own kind to hang out with.
