Hi! I have been lovin' chickens a long time. I found this site a few years back but just decided to join. I refuse to count my chickens.. but my husband does. I have buff and lavender orpingtons, dark brahmas, EE'S, g. lace wyandottes, silver lace wd's, white silkies, Swedish flower hens etc.... and toooo many roosters. I have lived rural central Alabama for 30 years and can't imagine ever moving back to town. Chickens provide our food, our entertainment, our fertilizer, and lot's of love. We have 3 dogs, one cat, one lion face rabbit, and 70 something chickens at last count.
